Knowledge Skill Transfer Workshop

On May 10-11, 2023, the Museum of Namibian Fashion held a knowledge skill transfer workshop in Tsumkwe. Around 30 students from Tsumkwe Secondary School and Tsumkwe Primary School joined in to learn about traditional bead-making skills. Led by Mrs Mouton from the Uitkoms Community Arts Committee, the goal was to teach young people about our cultural craftsmanship. They started with the basics on the first day and moved on to more complex patterns on the second day. This workshop celebrated both our heritage and creativity through knowledge skill transfer.
